I am 32 weeks pregnant and itching from head to toe with small bumps occuring mostly in the areas behind my knees, in my neck and all over my tummy. Could this be obstetric cholestasis?

Itching, pale stools and dark urine and oten general malaise are the classic symptoms of obstetric cholestasis. Cholestasis does not normally cause a rash, or bumps under your skin. It probably isn't anything serious, and could be either a common viral infection or even an allergy causing urticaria (skin rash and raised bumps). But you probably should be assessed by your doctor, who may want to send blood tests for your liver function and for viral infections such as CMV (cytameglaovirus) and parasitic infections such as toxoplasmosis.
