It's not normal to feel like this all the time, though late in pregnancy it's quite common to feel that your mood is very labile-swinging between happy about the soon to be new arrival and anxious about the birth and sleepless nights afterwards! We suggest that you tell your partner and midwife or doctor how you are feeling. If you are tearful and feeling depressed all the time then that must be identified by the professionals looking after you-as you will need to be in a positive frame of mind fer delivery and afterwards. Our best advice is don't bottle it up-you may well need help, that doesn't always mean tablets-but it does mean sympathetic care and counselling.- I''m very emotional most of the time, is this because I am pregnant?
