I used to run and use the gym three times a week, but have just found out I'm pregnant. How much exercise can I do?

Gentle exercise is good in pregnancy; if you are used to a workout routine you will probably need to adapt this. So swimming, cycling, gentle workouts (where you don't feel your body realy heating up) are all fine. Again, gentle running/jogging is probably OK in early pregnancy though you'll probably become uncomfortable after the mid-trimester because of the 'bump'. In general, avoid exercise that will raise your core temperature, and any exercise that could cause you to fall over or cause excessive jolts.
