I'm 32 weeks pregnant and just been told that my babies abdominal circumference is above the 97th centile. What does this mean?

All it means is that baby is growing slightly above the 'normal' range. This doesn't mean baby is in any way abnormal-nor likely to be, it just means that you are having a big baby! This may be because you or your partner were big babies. More rarely you could have glucose intolerance or possibly gestational diabetes, which is why you should see your doctor. More often that not, everything is absolutely OK especially if baby is moving normally and the amniotic fluid surrounding baby is normal.
