I've had my growth scan and my baby is 3 weeks ahead of itself in growth. What does this mean?

It simply means that baby is growing on the larger growth centiles, and is bigger than 'average' for your number of weeks. Just occasionally, a baby can appear a few weeks ahead or behind following a scan if your dates are miscalculated so it's as well to check your due date is correctly quoted on your scan report.
