Research suggests that vaginal delivery is slightly safer for you, but there is a small risk of damage particularly to the second twin, so some women opt for Caesarean. Vaginal delivery is usually feasible with twins providing the first twin is head down (cephalic), however there is a risk of Caesarean at any stage in labour-and this may occur after the first is delivered vaginally. |
