My belly button is really sore and red. What could be causing this?

Without seeing it, it isn't possible to say for sure. Your belly button may become sore with stretching of the skin usually after 24 weeks or so, and this could make your belly button red. Common rashes in pregnancy tend to spare the belly button, so it is also possible that you have developed a sensitivity to soap or skin cream
