How do I know if my baby's head is engaged?I'm 36 weeks this week.

Baby's head is engaged when more than half of his head has entered your pelvis. This can cause discomfort-especially for your bladder, and occasionally pelvic pain and nerve pains down your legs. The only way to tell for sure is for your doctor or midwife to examine you by feeling your tummy: if they can only feel a small amount of baby's head externally, then baby's head is engaged.
