Are nose bleeds common during pregnancy?

Yes, they do become more common and some women who have never experienced nosebleeds can suffer from them. The blood vessels all over your body are dilating in pregnancy and carry more blood. In the nose these vessels are susceptible to irritation and can bleed if, for example, you sneeze, have a cold or there is minor trauma to your nose.
