I had a previous Caesarean Section because my cervix wasn't dilating properly and the baby was in distress. Can I opt for another Caesarean Section in this pregnancy?

Your chances of having a vaginal delivery in this pregnancy are about 70%, though of course there is a 30% risk of emergency Caesarean and a very small risk (less than half a percent) of the Caesarean Scar rupturing. Your obstetrician will discuss these statistics with you. If you feel certain you want a Caesarean having all the information you need, then many will agree to this or give you the choice.
