I worry that my children may not get on with the new baby, and I''ll end up feeling torn between them, what can I do?

Wait and see if it happens first. It may not happen. Initially the elder children may play up, but that will be more to do with attention seeking than rejection of their new baby. Including them in the baby activities will help to make them feel involved for example at bath time, changing nappies, feeding, holding. If they are under supervision they can help to reduce the risk of feeling excluded.
