I`m 40 weeks and keep getting vaginal discharge. Is it a show?

A show is vaginal loss of mucus streaked with blood, and usually happens after 36 weeks. It precedes labour, but isn't necessarily a sign of labour as the interval may be a few hours or a week or two!
