I''m eight weeks and the scan showed two sacs, one with a healthy baby, and the other one appears to be empty. What exactly does this mean, and will it affect the baby?
I'm currently 22+5 with monochorionic twins after 3 miscarriages. I am being scanned every 3 weeks to monitor for TTTS and so far the fluid levels in each twin have appeared normal. Also, should I be asking for a doppler ulrasound to look at cord blood flow?
If you're carrying twins and one of them doesn't make it past 13 weeks, does this affect the surviving fetus? What procedure is used to remove the remains of the dead fetus or does it just dissolve?
I have non-identical twins. Do I need a Caesarean Section?
